There are 4 classes in the Junior room, Junior Infants, Senior Infants, First Class and Second Class.
It is a hive of activity. Children are highly motivated and challenged and enjoy working in pairs and groups. Peer learning benefits both young and old.
Children thoroughly enjoy creating beautiful pieces of artwork as well as singing songs and playing tin whistle tunes with musician Ger Wolfe.
Learning through play is also a central part of learning in the Junior room
2-D Shapes
We have been busy learning about 2-D shapes.
Houses and Homes
Children have been busy learning about houses and homes in SESE. They had fun making Fairy Houses in Art & Crafts.
Visit from Comhaltas Baile Núis
We were delighted to welcome musicians and dancers from Comhaltas Baile Núis. Their U12 and U15 Céilí band and U15 dancers celebrated their recent All Ireland success by visiting their schools.
